Feeling the need to make a psoriasis before and after postπŸ˜‰The pic to the left is my right hand in February and the pic to the right is the same hand today.πŸ™€

When I look back at my psoriasis photo journal I am astounded to see where I was compared to where I’m at now.πŸ’πŸ½I am still working away from the psoriasis I host as well as shingles, adrenal fatigue, tinnitus, overall fatigue, and brain fog but the difference in my skin and my life today verses where I was at in February is amazing.πŸ™Œ

Through an 80/10/10 raw vegan diet which I began in March I’ve been able to accomplish such clarity in my skin as well as my physical health!πŸŽπŸŒπŸπŸ‹πŸ‰πŸˆ

This picture does not just represent where I’m at with my skin issues but it also, metaphorically, is a representation of where I’m at with my overall physical and emotional health!πŸ’›So mind blowing how much every part of my life has improved since embarking on this life changing foods journey!!β˜€οΈ

Another phenomenon is the color of my skin! I’m actually not sure if it is the lighting in the pics or the mass quantities of plant materials I consume but there is a tremendous difference in my skin tone in these pics!πŸ€”Whatever it is that presents such a difference in my skin tone is a mystery to meπŸ‘

Raw Vegan Sushi Joy

Oh for the love of raw vegan maki sushi!!πŸ˜‰Raw cauliflower rice with avocado rolled up in nori! So so so yummy!! 1 small head of cauliflower with 1 tsp fresh ginger and 3 cloves of garlic in the food processor, transfer into a mixing bowl then add a pinch of sea salt, stir, and BAM you have yourself the most bomb cauliflower rice ever!πŸšπŸ’£

Spread some cauliflower rice onto a nori sheet, place your avocado on the bottom of your nori then roll up, slice carefully with a sharp knife, serve with a little OJ and lemon juice mixed with ground mustard, sliced jalapeΓ±o, and sea salt, then ENJOY!! 
Meals like this have been my go to for 7 months and my life is forever changed!!😍I cannot express how joyful I am to have transitioned into eating raw vegan! Searching for the right diet to let go of psoriasis, fatigue, constant nausea, anxiety, and Shingles has been my life mission for years and I have finally cracked the code!!πŸ”“
Oh joy of joy!! Healing With Nature

Just arrived home from a quick jaunt out to Bodega Bay, California, to dip my toes in the ocean and spend some time observing the power of Mother Nature. As always, I have my trusty daily supplements of Lemon Balm, Licorice Root, Nettle, and Raspberry Leaf organic herbal teas by Traditional Medicinals πŸƒβ˜•οΈπŸŒΏ 
The deeper I surrender to this healing process the more I am called to spend time in nature. Basking in the sunlight and moonlight, star gazing, walking barefoot in the garden, spending time with coastal California redwoods, watching the bees at work, listening to healing birdsong, strolling along the shoreline and gently dipping my toes in the brisk Northern California ocean waters are all activities which call me to engage in. The more time I spend with the wonders of our Mother Gaia, the less I find myself concerned with the world of “manufactured happiness”. 
I now find far less value and entertainment in television, celebrities, and keeping up with what’s trending. I have found the wonders of nature far more healing and compassionate to my individual journey than finding value in activities and observations of things that have nothing to do with me. The gifts from the Earth have everything to do with my journey and give me everything I need to be well.🌍
How Mother Nature can love me is far more healing and satisfying than celebrating competition, keeping up with what society says is best, and knowing about fads, or who’s famous. I have come to find the divine gifts from the Earth are never competitive or have judgements about my processes. 
To surrender to the Earth I was born from has been tremendously healing and I just can’t get enough of what our Mother Gaia has to offer to us all. A Voice For The Silenced

Why I blog…I blog to be a voice for the suffering. Those of us who suffer from illness, loss, and trauma all have a common theme amongst our lives, the theme of being silenced. 
We have been told, “There’s nothing wrong with you.” or “You look perfectly healthy.” or “It’s all in your head.” or “You did this to yourself.” or “Suck it up.” or “Get over it.” or “You’re crazy.” or “You should have, you could have, you need to…” 
All of these phrases can strangle the suffering into silence which can cause great emotional pain, fear, loneliness, and hopelessness. I know this because I have had every one of these phrases delivered to me from the voices of those who do not understand suffering or who do not want to understand suffering. 
To talk about our pain and be given a compassionate hand to hold and to be truly held is absolute medicine. This is why I blog. 
As chronic illness is exponentially growing in our world the voices of the ill must stop being silenced and they must be given a voice, listened to, heard, held. Everyone knows someone who suffers, so I say please listen, please give compassion, please open up to the idea that those who suffer need to be heard. 
For those who suffer, here is someone who understands you, here is someone who holds you in regard, here is someone who absolutely believes in you. I live to help those who have been silenced into loneliness, despair, and hopelessness. I support your voice, your wellness, your dreams, your life’s desires, your authenticity. You deserve a voice.

Overlooking the setting sun and coastal California redwoods during a solo dining experience tonight.β˜€οΈπŸŒ² 
The healing process can be very humbling and emotionally challenging and the last few weeks have presented a pretty deep emotional low for me so I have been doing everything I can to keep positive. Lots of prayers, meditation, alone time, sleep, connecting with the Earth, creativity, mass quantities of fruits, veggies, herbal teas, and medicinal mushrooms, connecting with my mom, connecting with my daughter, and connecting with true friends have been my uplifting recipe and I do feel I am on the upswing. 
I do have absolute gratitude for every aspect of this process, many lessons of humility, patience, and acceptance have come to me in the past few weeks, so I hold onto the lessons as medicine and continue to move forward with my face toward the sunlight.πŸ™Œ
Tonight’s dinner was preceded with prayers to God, the Sun, the Angel of Sun, the Angel of Light, the Angel of Faith, the Angel of Relationships, the Angel of Peace and basking in the setting sunlight. This plate I lovingly prepared for myself was awesomely beautiful, grounding, and uplifting✨consisting of avocado, raw cauliflower and purple cabbage rice, fat free raw zucchini pesto smothered maitake mushrooms over a bed of spinach then drizzled with lime juice, sprinkled with red onion, sea salt and cayenne pepper.
